What is Riders Robotics League?

Riders Robotics League is an interactive Educational ESports League, where teams compete against one another in robotics and coding challenges all while improving their skills.

By participating in competitions, students gain invaluable experience and enhance soft skills such as teamwork and communication.

Students have the opportunity to test their skills against teams from around the world during our Season Qualifier and Season Finals competitions. The top performing teams will advance to our Global Finals.

Team Formation and Signup
Deadline: October 11th, 2022

Students will gather as teams of 3-10 with a mentor to be able to join the program.

Video Training and Practice
Deadline: October 11th, 2022

A 10 hour long self-guided video training program will be provided to competitors that they will be expected to complete in full prior to being eligible to compete in the upcoming competition.

Season Qualifier
October 13th - October 16th

The 4-day long hackathon kicks off where teams will compete in 3 different category competitions in order to qualify for the Season Finals.

World Final
April 2023

The top teams from around the world including Europe, US, and the Middle East will compete against each other for valuable prizes.

Season Final
October 21st - October 23rd

The top 10 teams from the Season Qualifier will move on to compete in the Season Final where the top 3 teams will be eligible for World Finals.

Season 2 of US RRL
December 6th - December 18th

Season 2 of Riders Robotics League will encompass the same format as Season 1 Ultimately resulting in the top 3 teams from the season finals advancing to World Finals.

Live Final Events

The performances of the teams participating in the Season Final are monitored and their places in the ranking table are determined with the live event.

Improve your robotics and coding skills by completing our 15 hour long training, earn a certificate, and then have your team flex new skills in one of our virtual robotics hackathons against other teams from around the world.

By participating in Riders Robotics League, you'll not only have fun competing and collaborating with your team, but you'll be setting yourself up for an amazing career in cutting edge fields like robotics, mechatronics, software developments, artificial intelligence and more.

The coding and robotics skills you gain from our 15 hour long training and from our competitions will be transferrable skills to future classes, future hackathons, and future FIRST and VEX competitions you participate in.

International Competitions

After completing the 15 hour training, teams earn a certificate allowing them to compete in a live competition. All teams from around the world show off their coding and robotics skills and each team's score is displayed on a leaderboard!

Top performing teams in the competitions will have the opportunity to win great prizes and internship opportunities while building new skills during the program.

Course Content

With the Riders Robotics League, students get to know this field in the Introduction to Robotic Programming course and have the opportunity to improve their skills until the end-of-training competitions.
Module 1
Basic Programming for Robotics

Python programming, loops and conditional statements.

Pathfinding Algorithms, Sensors, Actors, Feedback in Robotics, Introduction to Image Processing

Who can join the Riders Robotics League?

The Riders Robotics League is open to all high school teams who are interested in robotics and want to improve themselves. Each team should work under the supervision of a mentor. For this training, which will be carried out completely remotely, all you need is a computer with internet connection after you have formed your team with your mentor.

Who are We?

Riders.ai is a cloud-based robotics development, training and competition platform developed by Acrome Robotics, one of ITU ARI Teknokent companies. Acrome Robotics has been developing robotic training systems for academia and industry since 2014, and the developed systems are exported to more than 30 countries as of 2020. In addition to robotic products, it is used in leading schools in Turkey and the USA with our cloud-based robotic coding, simulation and competition platform Riders.ai, and offers a more accessible area to everyone who wants to improve themselves in the field of robotics with the robotic competitions it organizes.
