Before the season starts mentors are required to form a high school robotics team of 6 to 10 students. Mentors are responsible for co-ordinating and communicating with Riders team members through each stage of the process. They track student participation in learning sessions during the training and competition phases, supervise homework completion and handle topics like certification.
How do I compete?
The Riders Robotics League is divided into two age groups (scroll down to see which you can join). You need to be part of a team and you need a mentor. Teams and mentors are normally organized via schools, but you can also arrange it. To compete or learn more, fill in your contact details.
Masters of the Universe start their careers young! There's no better introduction to coding and related STEM theories than learning to assemble fun Riders Robots and competing in the Riders Robotics League Junior Divisions!
Using the Blockly language, middle school students are given an accessible way to explorethe world of robotics and the science that makes them possible. Riders game-like approach makes learning easier and multiple fun simulations enables aspirational role-playing as they advance their skills.
Working at their own pace, K6-8 players can advance quickly to use Control Flow and learn to integrate tools like sensors into their robots. Besides science and maths, working in a Riders team teaches students practical problem-solving and team work.
Riders robots take the adventure of robotics learning and competition much further! There's no better way to advance basic coding skills and the related STEM theories than learning to assemble advanced Riders Robots and competing in the Riders Robotics League Senior Divisions!
Using the Python language, high school students are given an accessible way to explore the world of robotics and all the science that makes them possible. Riders game-like approach makes learning easier and multiple fun simulations enables aspirational role-playing that opens inquisitive minds to new possibilities.
Working at their own pace, K9-12 players see academic theory applied in real uses. They quickly advance their skills, learning to utilize Al and tools like image processing while building sophisticated robots. Besides advancing understanding of key STEM subjects, Riders teams practise problem-solving, critical thinking and team work.
